is inspired by our English camp ENGLISH 4 YOU, which has been running with great success for 22 years. The new French camp consists of language courses focused mainly on conversation and knowledge of French culture. Our French camp offers a unique opportunity to improve your French, converse and learn to understand native speakers. Our language SUMMER TIME CAMPS have been attracting the attention of parents and children for 30 years. We try to vary the type and format of our camps to meet modern language learning requirements. That's why, for the second time, we have decided to organize a new camp exclusively in French!

CAMP PROGRAM

The FRANÇAIS POUR VOUS daily program is divided into two parts. The morning begins with a seminar in which the educational activity focuses on a selected topic of French culture or other interesting French realities. Lessons focus on students' conversational skills. Afternoon activities and games build on the topics covered in the morning language lessons. Activities take the form of sports and creative competitions between groups and individuals. Each group is led by a native French teacher who provides authentic contact with French culture and naturally contributes to improving language skills. Together with the native speaker, a Czech leader leads the group to provide additional translation or explanation. Both group leaders are also fluent in English which allows us to provide multilingual communication, even with students who do not speak Czech.

LOCATION

Just like our English camp, we organize FRANÇAIS POUR VOUS in the apartments at MONÍNEC, located on Javorová skála (Maple Rock) about 80 km south of Prague, on the border between Central and South Bohemia. The MONÍNEC campus offers everything we need for our stay and the FRANÇAIS POUR VOUS program, comfort and luxury in cozy apartments with a living room, bedroom and private bathroom, internet access via Wi-Fi, plenty of classrooms for lessons, beautiful outdoor area with volleyball and tennis courts, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, natural bathing area with beach, trampolines, ping-pong tables, outdoor seating and many other attractions. The Alpine-style restaurant always provides us with a varied menu in a designated comfortable dining room. This restaurant also prepares alternative meals for children with dietary restrictions or vegetarians.

HALF-DAY TRIPS

There are numerous attractions and natural wonders in the vicinity of the camp, which will provide a varied program during the camp. In addition to the swimming pools, the natural baths at Pilský rybník, which is a 3-minute walk from our accommodation, will make the hot summer days more pleasant for us, as well as sports facilities such as a volleyball and netball court, a refreshment kiosk, a sunbathing meadow and a viewing pier. The vast surrounding forests provide many opportunities for various games. If you wish, you can also visit the local adventure park or the obstacle course.

TRANSPORT

Parents who bring their children directly to the camp are provided with a detailed map of how to get to the apartments at MONÍNEC. Transportation to and from camp is also provided from Prague by high-quality and modern buses of the company autobusy-dvorak.cz. This company provides us with transport exclusively by Mercedes and VDL buses, which meet the highest demands for quality and comfortable transport. Transportation by buses is not included in the price of the voucher and the return journey is charged at a flat rate of EUR 25 (500 CZK) for both journeys.

SAFETY

One of our main priorities is the safety of all participants of the FRANÇAIS POUR VOUS language camp. The basic prerequisite for achieving this goal is the quality of the educational staff and the observance of all safety regulations. Children are never left without adult supervision. If necessary, a trained medic is available at any time, for example, to supervise participants taking regular medication. All our tutors are recruited through careful selection and always receive appropriate training.

The organizers of FRANÇAIS POUR VOUS have been working with children since their student days. On our references page and on Facebook you can see for yourself how the children are satisfied with the experience and whether even the most demanding - the children's parents - are satisfied. Many of the participants of SUMMER TIME CAMPS have spent their holidays with us for many seasons. It often happens that children manage to attend more than one of our programs during one summer. This is undoubtedly a testament to the popularity of our camps and courses. And every teacher will confirm that the most successful teaching is that which the students themselves look forward to.

AGE, DATES AND PRICES

The FRANÇAIS POUR VOUS language camp is suitable for children aged 12 to 17 who have at least a partial knowledge of the French language, as well as for more advanced students who want to practice French actively while getting to know French culture more deeply. Students are divided into groups primarily according to their level of language proficiency, taking into account their age, so that they are also with their peers. The age structure and the location of the camp thus guarantee not only a high level of learning but also a relaxing summer holiday.

This year, FRANÇAIS POUR VOUS will take place in the resort of MONÍNEC in the third week of July, from Sunday to Sunday, from 14.7. to 21.7.2024. The price of EUR 490 (11 490 CZK) includes everything, as well as accommodation, meals, lessons and other camp programs.
